You probably read this already, but apparently Shepard Fairey is running a contest here. Strange, after the debacle in the article to which you directed me earlier. (When I did a remake of the Mona Lisa in a different style, I made sure to credit Leonardo DaVinci just in case, even though the reference was obvious. :) ) Usually even the accusation of art theft or other lowly offense is enough to derail a career. I just thought it was funny when I saw his name after that.

I just decided to swing by and tell you about my latest piece, "Cloud Walker". I employed general asymmetry to the overall piece, and textures on the road, hearlights, chrome (actual reflections), and other things. I also want you to take note of the crop I did on the hood ornament, so that you can see a hint of it at the picture's edge, and you can see the rest of it in it's reflection.

Also, most importantly (to me), the subject stretches the imagination. My biggest concern is that it is so far outside the realm of what one would ordinarily see, that others might not get what it's supposed to be, especially since I'm only showing a relatively small portion of the subject.

So have I followed your advice in the way that you had in mind?

Yes, This is much better. I would, however, pull off a little from the bottom to get the headlights out of the center. 10-15% off the bottom and maybe 10-20% off the right, to again get the headlights out of the center. Also, the tighter the crop the bigger it will look.

I was reading your comments on a picture and I was astounded by your level of criticism; I think I'm even afraid of you! I had the same reaction after reading Poe's story "The Masque of the Red Death", because It was brilliant how the story was a complete allegory. Who would've thought that man was a genious? Anyway, you kick ass! :headbang:

Which picture did I comment on that you felt this way about, if I might ask?

I forgot the name, but it's the photographer who posed naked. Yes, I do realize I am only 14, but I'm not looking at these in a bad way; please understand that. Moving on,:ninjaeat: do you know which one it is now?

I leave comments on lots of things. Um, was it the one where the guy is jumping out of a suitcase?

hes ontop of the suitcase- I didn't see him jump off. You left various comments, it wasn't jsut one. It's not literally fear that I felt, just respect.
